Dr. Romero is a professor at the University of Utah. His research relates to the sustainability of infrastructure and includes topics such as pavement design and rehabilitation, use of novel materials, such as recycled materials, and material characterization. He holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D from Penn State University.
