Project Objective

The objective of this technology transfer project is to plan and co-host a national transportation safety conference with the Southeastern Transportation Center (STC) at University of Tennessee.

Project Abstract

Transportation safety is a critically important issue, nationally and regionally. Although the issues are the same across the United States, the problem settings and practices may vary among regions. Therefore, it is important not only to describe the issues and solutions, but to exchange ideas across regions.

Task Descriptions

  1. Develop conference plan, including speaker and topic lists.
  2. Hold conference.
  3. Prepare conference summary and report.
