Project Objective

The objective of the project is to provide for local management, administrative and clerical needs of the MPC programmed activities at Colorado State University (CSU).

Project Abstract

Funding is requested for the costs associated with the university program's conduct of the management, other duties and staffing. The local university program director is responsible for numerous management tasks, proposal development and processing; annual reporting: annual agency site visit: local site visit of the director: overseeing conduct of re search projects, participation in MPC Executive Committee; coordination with the TEL8 telecommunications network, and other matters. This project serves to provide budget necessary to effectively perform these duties.

Yearly and Total Budget

This is an annual project. The attached budget is for July 1, 2000-June 30, 2001. The amount requested is $10,373 USDOT and is augmented by $17,272 as a CSU match. The total budget is $27,745.

This provides service support to all MPC projects at CSU.

Potential Benefits of the Project

Funding is necessary for effective, timely conduct of the required MPC duties of the university program director. Deliverables are described in the MPC's 2000-2001 Thirteenth Year Program Plan recently approved by the federal managing agency, and the approved research project descriptions associated with it. The university program director is responsible for satisfactory completion of the work committed by CSU in those documents.
